Video: More Than 100 Intact Sarcophagi Unveiled in Egypt

Egypt unveiled a cache of more than 100 intact sarcophagi and 40 statues of deities in Saqqara on Saturday. Dating back more than 2,500 years, the ancient coffins and figurines were found within three 12-meter deep burial shafts. This latest find adds to the discovery of 59 other coffins uncovered in October near the same location. "Saqqara hasn't yet revealed one percent of its secrets. We can find tombs and burial shafts in every single spot in this area," antiquities minister Khaled El-Anany said.
