Beyond the Pentagon UAP files, a recently released FBI file has brought renewed attention to a curious UFO sighting reported by police officers in Anoka, Minnesota. The incident occurred in the early hours of February 19, 2025, when several members of the Anoka Police Department were conducting a post-training debrief in a parking lot and noticed a strange, multicolored object hovering in the western sky.
According to witness statements, the object displayed rapidly shifting colors and unusual movements, and one officer shot a video with his iPhone through a pair of binoculars. The group observed it for roughly 90 minutes, relocating to a nearby parking ramp for a better view. One officer described the phenomenon as resembling six illuminated rings arranged like an atomic model, while another estimated it appeared as large as an SUV or school bus.
The report eventually made its way to the FBI through Americans for Safe Aerospace, a nonprofit organization that evaluates reports of unidentified anomalous phenomena, or UAPs. The documents are now part of the National Archives' growing collection of declassified UAP records.
