A humanoid robot at an undisclosed Chinese factory suddenly went haywire, thrashing around, knocking stuff over, and giving two nearby workers the scare of their lives.
The robot, resembling a Unitree H1, was simply hanging from a crane while two workers, possibly programmers testing the machine, stood nearby. Then it snapped, flailing limbs and wreaking havoc. One brave worker eventually stabilized the crane and managed to stop the mechanical mayhem.
This isn't the first time a Unitree robot has gone rogue, and it’s reigniting online chatter about a possible "robot uprising." No one's sure what caused the malfunction, but experts are calling for tighter safety checks. Sci-fi nightmare or just a glitch? Share your thoughts with us on our Facebook page.
