Video: Strange Sound in Cincinnati Fuels Paranormal Theories

By Alec Fernandes

An eerie, oscillating noise has been plaguing several Cincinnati neighborhoods for weeks. The unnerving tone, described by some as a siren-like wail, has become a quality-of-life issue for many baffled residents. "It kind of stresses me out, because I don't know what it is. It's kind of scary," one young neighbor told Local 12 News.

Online sleuths have floated numerous paranormal possibilities: could the strange sound be the mournful cries of Bigfoot, a ghost from Queensgate, or even a Kraken hiding in the Ohio River? An anonymous source has a more mundane explanation, claiming it's an old locomotive engine from a nearby rail yard. However, a spokesperson for the train company couldn't confirm the source of the noise, leaving residents to wonder if it's merely mechanical or something far stranger echoing in the night.
