Video: UK Inventor Designs Amazing 'Hoverbike'

April 29, 2016

An ingenious plumber-turned-inventor in the UK has created an amazing and somewhat terrifying 'hoverbike.'

Despite boasting no formal background in engineering, Colin Furze has made a name for himself in recent years with his unique inventions, including a jet-powered stroller and the world's longest motorcycle.

However it is his latest achievement which has imaginations soaring as Furze has designed a homemade hoverbike.

Constructed using two enormous fans, the rudimentary vehicle requires courage to ride as it has no seat nor brakes.

Nonetheless, it truly is a sight to behold when Furze steps onto the bike and it begins taking to the sky.

Should the small details like a lack of brakes be worked out, one can imagine hoverbikes becoming both the latest craze and nuisance that we'll be grousing about in the future.

Furze invention also begs the question of how far the 'hover craze' will go and what weird household item will be next to have a fan strapped to it in the name of 'science.'
