A North Carolina man taking a stroll along the beach was astounded when he spotted a starfish that started 'walking' after it got stuck in the sand.
Fortunately, Zeb Hallock managed to capture footage of the eerie sight as the creature's limbs began undulating and it lifted itself up using tiny tentacles.
According to him, there were several other starfish there that also found themselves in the precarious position of being stranded on land, but they were all thankfully saved by benevolent beachgoers.
That's almost certainly for the best since, based on the slow pace displayed by the starfish in the video, it would have taken the creatures quite a long time to get off the beach if left to fend for themselves.
