Golfers on a course in Florida were left bewildered when they spotted an alligator being accompanied by a sidestepping crane as it crossed the course.
Filmed in the city of Port Charlotte, the weird encounter saw the roaming reptile walk a fairly sizeable distance while seemingly ignoring the bird as it loomed over the cold-blooded creature.
The amazed onlookers watching the scene speculated that this must be a regular occurrence for the crane who, they believe, was attempting to shield its family from the attention of the alligator.
One can only imagine, if this really is a frequent meeting between the two creatures, what kind of conversations they must be having to each other by now as they waltz along the fairway once again.
