Earlier this week, Victor Vescovo became the first underwater explorer to reach the deepest part of the Pacific Ocean - the Mariana Trench. His submersible reached a record-breaking depth of seven miles below the surface where it risked possible implosion had equipment malfunctioned. Vescovo spent four hours exploring the bottom of the trench and recording video.
