A Russian motorist claims to have not only encountered Bigfoot while driving, but stopped his car to pursue the creature on foot!
Filmed near the city of Severodvinsk, the intriguing incident occurred as the man was cruising down a highway at dusk and spotted a dark figure on the side of the road.
According to a local media report, he was stunned to see that the 'humanoid' was covered in fur and waving its arms in an odd fashion.
Incredibly, the witness then pulled over, got out of his car, and began walking after the creature in an attempt to get a better look at the beast before it vanished into the wilderness.
Afraid of being ridiculed for his experience, the man says that he held on to the footage for a couple of months before finally deciding to share it online.
As one can imagine, skeptics are less than convinced by the footage, labeling it a not-so-elaborate hoax.
However, the newspaper which initially reported on the video notes that area residents have noticed an inexplicable increase in wild animals running out of the forest and mused that perhaps they are trying to escape the Sasquatch.
