Another puzzling aerial sighting has surfaced from Alabama, this time in Tuscaloosa. A video shared with local news station WVTM shows a series of strange, luminous objects moving erratically over a neighbor's house. Twelve-year-old Jett Johnston was at home with his grandmother when he recorded the incident, capturing glowing lights that shifted directions rapidly while leaving a faint, dust-like trail behind. Johnston was convinced he witnessed a real-life alien encounter, telling reporters, "There has to be more than just life on Earth."
Local experts, however, remain divided over the footage. Fred Rains, a lifelong skywatcher with the Birmingham Astronomical Society, admitted that in all his years of observation, he has "never seen anything that I could not explain" until viewing Johnston's video. While Rains noted the objects moved smoothly like conventional aircraft or birds, he found their luminous trails baffling. Meanwhile, an astronomy professor from the University of Alabama offered a more conventional hypothesis, suggesting the lights might simply be high-tech drones.
