Curtis,the director of a West Los Angeles think tank, is a specialist in understanding the mechanisms of spin, propaganda, and "damage control."
Don McAlvany (mcalvany.com), the editor of the Intelligence Advisor which analyzes global, economic, and political developments spoke with George about the underpinnings to the current war. He believes a turning point was when Iraq switched currencies for their oil transactions from dollars to euros in 1999.
"Osama is no longer a human. He is an idea," said Howard Bloom (howardbloom.net), George's third guest of the evening. Bloom, a paleopsychologist and author, suggested that after Iraq is conquered, the US may have to contend with a united Islamic population set against them. Bloom believes that the world may need a single superpower to impose peace, "a hegemony...like the Pax Romana or the Pax Britannica," he said.
