Scott D. de Hart

Scott D. de Hart was born and raised in a suburb of Los Angeles county, (Westlake Village, California). He obtained his Ph.D. while studying at Wycliffe Hall, the University of Oxford and has spent the last 20 years as a writer, teacher, professor, and researcher with wide ranging interests in religion, philosophy, and 19th century English literature.

He has dedicated much of the last two decades of his life as a college professor (philosophy, theology, humanities, and English literature). He holds a California teaching credential in English and spends his spare time playing guitar, writing, reading, and traveling. His wife, Rosalba is a National Board Certified Teacher (French). He is the proud father of 5 children, Wesley, Calvin, Alexander, Bennett, and Katie.
