Ancient American Objects

Date

Hosted byGeorge Noory

During the first three hours, expert on ancient manuscripts, Glenn Kimball discussed his latest work deciphering North American tablets and artifacts and how they connect the Americas with the ancient world. These relics depicting Biblical and Egyptian imagery, discovered in mounds, mines, and caves across the United States, number in the thousands. One reason he believes they are authentic is because it would have taken a massive effort to forge and bury so many objects.

Kimball suggested that these artifacts were created by indigenous ancient Americans who conducted overseas trade with such civilizations as the Greeks and the Egyptians. Ancient Phoenician boats were capable of oceanic travel, and had better technology than ships during the Renaissance, he declared. There were people in Egypt said to come from the "land of the inverted sea," which he interpreted to mean America. For more on ancient travels to the Americas, Kimball recommended the new book Secret Voyages to the New World by Gunnar Thompson.

The city of Knossos, Greece was involved in copper trade and may have acquired the metal from Michigan copper mines, said Kimball. There is evidence for some 2,000 copper mines in Michigan which have been carbon dated to the period of around 1800 BC, he noted. Kimball also touched on such topics as the 'Immortals,' a group of people said to live forever, and the life of Jesus. For more, check out this set of images of curious artifacts found in North American mounds, many of which depict Egyptian themes & imagery.

During the last hour, George conducted Open Lines. One of the callers, Ed, shared his experiences talking with ghosts, and even briefly spoke to one while on the air.
