Demonic Forces & the Paranormal

Date

Hosted byGeorge Noory

Demonologist John Zaffis and Exorcist Andrew Calder teamed up for a discussion on demonic possession and paranormal investigations. They shared details about a case they worked on-- the exorcism of a woman named Mary, who'd herself been a paranormal investigator. During the exorcism, she was seen levitating 12 inches off her chair and it took five people to push her back down, said Zaffis, who noted that this was the first time in his 35 years of investigations that he'd ever seen a levitation. A black shadow was also observed moving behind her around the time the demon was cast out.

The two concurred that there's been a rise in demonic or negative entities, though Calder noted that right after 9-11 there were fewer cases. He attributes this to the prayers of people around the world affecting demonic forces. In Columbus, Ga., Calder said he dealt with a particularly disturbing entity that was connected to a woman who underwent two exorcisms. There were manifestations in his home and he was awakened by nighttime visitations.

Zaffis commented on the current "epidemic" of paranormal investigators-- many of them could be opening themselves up to negative entities, if they are operating with little knowledge of these forces. He also recounted his recent encounter at a monastery with what may have been the spirit of his uncle, Ed Warren, the famed demonologist who died last year. He heard his name being called and felt two squeezes on his shoulder, just as Ed used to do. Later, he saw a hooded figure that said "I'll always be with you," before suddenly vanishing.

New Skull Discovery

First hour guest, author and researcher Michael Cremo commented on a recent fossil skull discovery which suggests that Homo erectus may not have evolved from Homo habilis, as previously thought. What is not being reported, is that humans just like us, also co-existed with these early peoples, he said.
