Pandemic Issues / Expanded Human Potential

Date

Hosted byJimmy Church

Researcher and experiencer Jason Quitt joined Jimmy Church (Twitter) to discuss recent developments with coronavirus and how we are dealing with this issue. In the first half-hour, Quitt spoke about his recent international travels and the difficulties he encountered with disease-screening at Canadian airports. He suggested that "we have to stay out of fear" at this time. In a recent out-of-body experience, Quitt visited what looked like a FEMA camp, with families in tents, but the people he saw looked like "they were happy to be there." He noted that he didn't know if this had anything to do with the current situation.

Quitt believes that the mind is a powerful agent for healing, and to preserve our health, he suggested that "we program a frequency or consciousness into an electric field, and this may transfer information to the RNA and DNA" and that by doing this we "can literally start to shift our own physiological functions of the body." He reiterated his feeling that we will endure and that "people will reach out and help people."

In the second half, author James Redfield presented a message of hope and a vision for the future, arguing that the twentieth and early twenty-first centuries have witnessed a revolution in new human capacities - super-normal athletic feats, clairvoyant perception, lives transformed by meditative practices and healing through prayer. He first outlined these concepts in his legendary book, The Celestine Prophecy, and believes the issues he covered in the book are even more relevant today. Redfield said that he believes that "there is a higher life that you can tune into," and that basically, "it's about building and maintaining that inner peace" and using your innate intuition to guide yourself to a better life.

Millennials are discovering his work, he reported, because they're reaching middle age and trying to decide what they want to do in life. He added that spirituality, in his definition, is a set of experiences that help one realize that "the design of this world is metaphysical." Redfield contends that religions each have a piece of the puzzle, but that "doctrines keep them from unifying with each other," since they are basically saying the same thing about the meaning of life. For now, he added, it is time to choose between "fear and control," or following your inner voice.
