Astrology & Transformations / Finances in Troubled Times

Date

Hosted byGeorge Noory

In the first half, macro-astrologer, author, and expert in the Mayan calendar, Barbara Hand Clow spoke about her work on the massive transformative changes that Earth is going through. Astrologically, we are in for a difficult time, she pointed out, as Jupiter/Saturn/Pluto are in Capricorn and conjunct each other at different points in 2020, as we head in the Aquarian Age (which will immerse us in technology even more). Talking about how electrical fields can adversely affect human health, Hand Clow drew parallels at various junctures: 1889-- when there was a flu pandemic just as power lines were being strung up; 1918-- the creation of radio at the time of the Spanish Flu; 1957-- the start of radar arrived with the Asian Flu; 1968-- satellites in the air and the Hong Kong Flu; 1996-- cell towers and another major flu. And in 2019, Wuhan, China initiated 5G technology (as well as Northern Italy), which she associates with the spread of the novel coronavirus.

The vast majority of people learn to adjust to new frequencies in the environment, she continued, but "we've got to put that into the equation in terms of trying to figure out how to open the economy back up." Cellular technology is activating new levels in our brains, and creating a "multidimensional response"-- possibly the next stage in evolution, she suggested. Hand Clow also talked about her fictional trilogy of books set between the years 2011 and 2020, beginning with the end of the Mayan calendar, and going to a world implosion around the Spring Equinox of 2020 (such as we're experiencing with COVID-19). The astrological chart at the Winter Solstice (just before Christmas 2020), sees a return of the dwarf planet Sedna, last in this position during a cataclysm some 12,000 years ago, she detailed. During the fourth hour, callers shared how they were faring in the pandemic shutdown, and Hand Clow gave them psychic/astrological readings.

In the latter half, author and radio host Jim Paris discussed prayer, miracles, and how we can find financial solutions and achieve personal breakthroughs. He offered practical tips and advice on how to stay upbeat through current difficulties. The silver lining to the economic shutdown is that everyone is going through it at the same time, he cited, and many programs have been put into place to help people get through this. For instance, student loans can be delayed for six months, and most mortgage and auto finance companies are working with people.

For those in tight money situations, landlords, credit card companies, and local utilities are all negotiating payments, "so you want to get on the phone and try to put on pause as many of your obligations as you can," he advised. As as far as income, he recommended getting onto the new IRS web portal to make sure you're set up to receive the stimulus check (there's also a new app to facilitate this). Paris recounted how he contemplated suicide after all his money was embezzled by his brother, but was able to find strength through prayer and hope. During the last hour, callers shared their own tales of turning their lives around, including race car driver Dan Parker, who was blinded in an accident and has now figured out a way to return to racing.
