Alternative Health / Pillars of Enoch & Sacred Knowledge

Date

Hosted byGeorge Noory

In the first half, pharmacist, nutritionist, and cosmetic chemist Ben Fuchs shared alternative health concepts, and offered tips on supplements and healthy changes to one's diet and lifestyle. Vitamin D can turn on beneficial genes, he reported, but it needs to be activated by the liver and kidney. Vitamin D is best taken with a spectrum of other supplements that support these organs' health, he added. Some of the COVID symptoms like the loss of smell and taste are associated with nutritional deficiencies, he suggested, and such deficiencies are also behind diabetes, cancer, and auto-immune conditions.

Fuchs talked about different ways to improve skin quality, which can be related to the digestive system. He advised taking digestive enzymes, probiotics, EFAs, Vitamins A & E, and including some fats in the diet. One of the best things a person can do for their health, he continued, is to eat less food-- and by that, he means, not getting less nutrition, but just consuming fewer calories. The gall bladder is a major organ for detoxification, Fuchs noted, and to protect its health, he recommended supplementation with bile salts and betaine.

Tobias Churton is a world authority on Gnosticism, Hermeticism, Freemasonry, and Rosicrucianism. In the latter half, he discussed the biblical Enoch--also known as Hermes Trismegistus, Thoth, or Idris-- the guardian of a sacred knowledge said to be inscribed on columns known as Enoch's or Seth's pillars. In biblical accounts, Enoch was the son of Seth (Adam's third son after Cain & Abel) and the great-grandfather of Noah. "His name has become associated with primal wisdom-- the first knowledge of mankind," Churton detailed, adding that the Book of Enoch was a mysterious and apocalyptic religious text found in the Dead Sea Scrolls.

Considered perhaps the first archaeological story, the historian Josephus (writing about 40 years after the crucifixion) described how all the knowledge from Seth's progeny was inscribed on two pillars, following a prophecy from God that the world would be destroyed. One pillar was designed to survive fire, the other water, Churton recounted. Josephus wrote that one pillar could still be seen in his day. The legend of the pillars appears in the earliest Masonic documents, going back to the 1300s. According to their writings, Hermes the philosopher discovers a pillar and passes the knowledge to Euclid, the master of geometry. Churton also talked about the distinction between religion and Gnosticism-- religion offers specific paths to understand God, while gnostic experience entails finding God from within or through mysticism.
