In the first half, pharmacist Ben Fuchs discussed natural health remedies and the vitamins, nutrients, and minerals our bodies need to maintain good health. Certain substances known as natural 'mTOR inhibitors' may keep cancer cells from growing, and include turmeric and green tea, he reported. The plant-based supplement beta-sitosterol is helpful for prostate issues and may reduce trips to the bathroom when waking up at night. Zinc is also useful for prostate problems and reducing hair loss, he added.

Avocados, Fuchs noted, are a great source of fiber and fat and considered healthy for the heart. For those suffering from constipation, he advised getting enough fiber from vegetables, as well as taking the mineral magnesium, which can function like a laxative. Stretching the body is an excellent way to activate new tissue growth. For lightening dark skin spots, he recommended taking melatonin at night, and topical applications of retinol, Vitamin C, or 5 or 10% glycolic acid on the affected areas.

Retired police officer Brandon Wainwright was skeptical about spiritual matters until his beloved dog, a precocious chihuahua named Tyson, passed away. In the latter half, he shared how the loss of his pet launched him on a journey using animal communicators and spiritual mediums to connect with the spirit of Tyson. Wainwright described how accurate one of the animal communicators was-- over the phone, she offered very specific information about Tyson and his physical ailments. Subsequent sessions provided even more amazing details, and he became absolutely convinced that Tyson was able to make contact from the Other Side.

The realization that we truly are eternal spirits inspired Wainwright to develop his spiritual side, and embark on a new career in energy medicine. He became a Reiki Master (Reiki is a Japanese form of energy healing) and now works with clients. Different types of spiritual energy can be channeled as a healer, he detailed. The practitioner, he further explained, is a conduit for energy that interacts with the client's chakras (spiritual energy centers) and can have the effect of increasing health and combating illness.
