Alternative Health / Energy Vampires & Psychic Abilities

Date

Hosted byGeorge Noory

In the first half, pharmacist Ben Fuchs discussed natural health remedies and the vitamins, nutrients, and minerals that our bodies need to maintain good health. Weighing in on the subject of alcohol consumption, he said he considers alcohol to be a toxin that has to be processed by the liver, though he conceded that in small amounts, its relaxing effect can be desirable. While we all have parasites in our body, sometimes they can get out of control, in which case he recommended considering the supplement activated charcoal or undergoing a colonic.

For a caller with neuropathy (pain in the hands and feet), he suggested the condition may relate to blood sugar issues. To maintain good health as we get older, we should all treat ourselves as a diabetic, he advised. This means reducing calories, exercising, drinking more water, and taking vitamin B1, which can help with blood sugar problems, he said. For treating mild depression, he said that the herb St. John's Wort can be helpful (as well as for burns), and drinking a glass of water with a pinch of salt can reduce stress. Psychic counselor and Reiki master teacher with over twenty-five years of experience, Lisa Campion has trained more than one thousand practitioners in the hands-on, energy-healing practice of Reiki. In the latter half, she talked about how to cultivate psychic ability and ward off psychic attacks and energy vampires. There are four different types of energy vampires, she detailed:

  • Predatory vampires-- can be psychopathic in nature and may use their psychic abilities to target the right person.
  • Victim vampires-- may be unaware they are draining others' energies and feel disempowered in life.
  • Situational vampires-- may become this way because of temporary hardships, such as losing their job or house.
  • Empath vampires-- are highly sensitive, and if they allow themselves to be drained by an energy vampire, they may become one themselves.

To avoid being victimized by an energy vampire, she suggested drawing strong boundaries and reducing exposure or cutting ties to them. "They will find other people to get filled from, so we don't need to worry about that. They're very resourceful that way," she stated.

The symptoms of a psychic attack include a tugging at the solar plexus or a headache in the back of the head, she revealed. Campion has created a map of the psychic worlds and helps her students develop "street smarts" in these realms as a psychic defense. Most people have some degree of psychic ability, though they often ignore intuitive hunches or nudges, she noted. Meditation and clearing out energy are techniques she uses to tune up her psychic awareness. During the last hour, she gave readings to callers.
