Dr. Lorraine Day, former Associate Professor and Vice Chairman of Orthopedic Surgery at UC San Francisco Medical School, spent 15 years as a trauma surgeon before becoming a vocal critic of mainstream medicine. She discussed her battle with breast cancer, her critique of conventional cancer treatments, and her belief that disease can be reversed by restoring the body's natural defenses.

After developing a grapefruit-sized breast tumor and receiving a terminal prognosis, Day rejected chemotherapy and radiation, choosing instead to rebuild her immune system through natural methods. She said she made a full recovery and also claimed that hundreds of people had recovered from AIDS using similar approaches.

Day outlined a holistic health program centered on a strict vegan diet, daily fresh fruit and vegetable juices, plenty of pure water, regular sunlight, fresh air, exercise, and eight hours of sleep. She also emphasized reducing stress through Bible study and prayer, avoiding processed foods and refined sugar, and releasing anger in favor of forgiveness and compassion as essential components of healing. The first and last hour featured Open Lines.
