Lloyd Pye was best known as the caretaker of the famous Starchild skull, but on this early program, he outlined the studies that led him to conclude humans could not possibly have evolved according to the Darwinian paradigm. His evidence came through comparing skeletons in the so-called "pre-human" fossil record with those reported to belong to the world's four basic types of hominoids. Pye first compared the theories of creationism and evolution, finding merits in both. He then examined catastrophes throughout the history of the planet, and how species seem to repopulate almost fully formed after each planet-ending event (collisions with comets, asteroids, etc), which he called "cosmic dumptrucks."
Presenting his explanation for what he described as holes in human evolutionary theory, he included evidence of Bigfoot and other similar primates. The fossil record, he asserted, did not account for the jump from primitive hominids to modern man. Pye then referred to the work of Zechariah Sitchin and proposed that modern man was partially created as a slave race by aliens, "smart enough but not too smart, and strong enough but not too strong" to revolt and overcome their otherworldly masters.
In the first hour, National UFO Reporting Center (NUFORC) director Peter Davenport related the latest and most dramatic UFO sightings received by his group, including an incident from the previous night near Chicago involving multiple witnesses who saw a "blood red" glowing orb flying below an overcast cloud cover.
