Conspiracies with Robert Anton Wilson

Date

Hosted byArt Bell

Robert Anton Wilson was an American author, novelist, psychologist, essayist, civil libertarian and self-described agnostic mystic. Recognized as a saint of "Discordianism," Wilson helped publicize the group through his writings and interviews. Art's guest in hours 1-4, Wilson describes his work as an "attempt to break down conditioned associations." He discusses "The Illuminatus!" his trilogy first published in 1975, which combined sci-fi, comedy, and truth. He says that the craziest conspiracies are actually sometimes the most plausible, and suggests the Illuminati goes back to the time of Atlantis, along with many other theories. He also explains the idea of Discordia, and how he set out in the late 1960s to make every person on the planet a Discordian Pope.

Ed Dames joins the show during hour 4, talking about his Remote Viewing videos, and why he’s giving away secrets about the process. The topic of weather change is also broached. Open Lines finishes out the show in Hour 5.
