Magic & the Occult

The late occult practitioner Dr. Evelyn Paglini explored both the evidence for the afterlife and the practices of magic and the occult. She asserted that the afterlife has been "absolutely" proven, a fact acknowledged by cultures around the world. Referring to the occult as "the science of mankind from the beginning," Paglini claimed, "it's in our DNA, and it's in our soul." She described magic as "neutral," explaining that it can be used for either good or ill. According to Paglini, she could employ her methods to harm another person if the spells were "justified"—meaning the target had caused intentional harm—and if doing so would restore karmic balance.

Paglini also discussed the use of plants and objects to shield magicians from negative influences or to attract positive outcomes. She explained that the distinction between "white" and "black" magic essentially boils down to the difference between acting out of love or out of greed.

In the first hour, author Whitley Strieber shared recent UFO news, including a remarkable sighting in British Columbia. He recounted an incident in which a seven-year-old boy claimed that "little blue men" appeared in his bedroom alongside his recently deceased brother, who assured him that he was "OK." Addressing the U.S. government's stance on the ET/UFO phenomenon, Strieber noted that officials "can't control them, and they don't know what they're doing."
