The Amityville Horror House

Date

Hosted byArt Bell

George Lutz discussed the paranormal events that took place in the 'Amityville Horror' house where he lived and how they affected him and his family. A former land surveyor, he gained notoriety after he and his wife Kathy moved into the three-story home on Long Island in 1975 that was the site of the grisly DeFeo family murders.

George and Kathy's accounts of the haunting that took place there, which they said included oozing slime, levitation, and moving furniture, became the source for The Amityville Horror book and movies. Lutz passed away in 2006 from conditions related to heart disease.

During the first hour, Art shares news of the day, and Richard C. Hoagland talked about a “general warming” trend in the solar system and possible conflicts coming in the Middle East.
