The mysterious and rather notorious annual gathering of global elites, known as the Bilderberg Meeting, commenced today in Stockholm, Sweden. Approximately 130 power brokers from the worlds of politics, finance, industry, and academia are expected to be in attendance at the invitation-only get-together that has long been the subject of speculation among conspiracy theorists. Over the course of the four-day-long event, participants will engage in what the group describes as "informal discussions about major issues" with the details of such conversations being shrouded in secrecy. Despite the incredibly private nature of the Bilderberg Meeting, organizers have once again revealed a list of attendees and the agenda for this year's gathering.
According to a press release issued early Thursday morning, "about two-thirds of the participants come from Europe and the rest from North America; approximately a quarter from politics and government and the rest from other fields." The vast majority of Bilderberg Meeting attendees are well-known within their sphere of influence, such as Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella and Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla, though hardly household names to the general public. That said, some of the more noteworthy people expected attendees are entrepreneur Peter Thiel, politician Stacey Abrams, and media personality Fareed Zakaria.
As for what will be discussed at this year's Bilderberg Meeting, organizers have shared an agenda featuring eleven specific talking points to be covered over the weekend. Among the issues on the list are transatlantic relations between North America and Europe, the war in Ukraine, and the tumultuous Middle East. Additionally, the challenges associated with artificial intelligence, "Geopolitics of Energy and Critical Minerals," and "Depopulation and Migration" are also subjects that will be focused on during the discussions. While the nature of these conversations will never be known to the proverbial unwashed masses, one can be certain that they will have a hand in shaping our world in the weeks, months, and years to come.
