In a strange story out of Uganda, an accused witch doctor seemingly summoned a swarm of bees to the courthouse and unleashed chaos upon the proceedings. The bizarre incident reportedly occurred late last month in the city of Mbale. As the unnamed defendant prepared to stand trial for the proverbial dark arts, the building was suddenly filled with bees, sending workers running for cover and bringing court business to an immediate halt. Eerily, the accused witch doctor is said to have sat perfectly still and totally unbothered by the bees as people around him frantically fled the scene.
Word of the weird incident spread quickly online in Uganda, with many arguing that, as has been seen in the past with purported practitioners of the dark arts, the appearance of the bombastic bugs was a demonstration of the man's magical powers. Conversely, more skeptical individuals suggested that the situation was merely a peculiar coincidence. Regardless of which camp is correct, one imagines that the sudden appearance of the bees and the man's nonchalant response to their presence almost certainly hurt his defense.
