Anti-AI Protestor Commits Staggering Vandalism Spree

By Tim Binnall

British authorities are on the hunt for a man who made his misgivings about artificial intelligence known through a staggering vandalism spree that saw him strike in over a dozen communities during the holiday season. The sought-after individual reportedly took to the streets of a whopping 15 towns in Southeast Cornwall between Christmas Eve and Boxing Day. Wielding a step stool and a large yellow bag containing cans of spray paint, the vandal scrawled "AI will take our jobs" and "AI will replace us" on several public and private buildings throughout the various communities that he visited.

Cops are understandably keen to identify the man, who wore a mask while brazenly committing the crimes and was captured on video by several security systems during the three-day-long spree. Should the vandal be brought to justice, one imagines that it will likely be the result of good old-fashioned police work. That said, there would be a delicious irony if his downfall wound up being brought about by AI deciphering his identity and getting a last robotic laugh on the man who spent his holiday season trying to sound the alarm about the proverbial rise of the machines.
