Art Bell Vault: Human Origins

Our newest feature for Coast Insiders, The Art Bell Vault, offers an expanding curated collection with two vintage shows added to the mix each Wednesday. This week, we showcase a pair of programs that look at human origins both from creationist and evolutionary perspectives. First, we journey back to 6/12/02, for an episode in which Art interviewed Carl Edward Baugh, the director of the Creation Evidence Museum in Texas. He discusses his theory that dinosaurs could not have lived in the time that traditional paleontology indicates, and his search for living dinosaurs. He also argues that humans appeared on Earth just six-thousand years ago.

On the very next night, 6/13/02, Art offered an entirely different look at the origins question in his conversation with anthropologist Dr. Hank Wesselman, who is also a shaman. Wesselman shared a story of when he was on an 18-hour flight, sitting next to a creationist Christian, who he had a lengthy debate with. The man became disturbed and after about a 2-hour conversation, he spent most of the flight in the bathroom. Wesselman also describes his out-of-body and mystical experiences.

These vintage programs have commercials and breaks removed and are presented in multiple-platforms-- available on-demand for Mac, Windows, IOS, and Android. Many of them feature rare "5th" hours of content from back in the 90s when the show had a longer running time. We do include Art's beloved bumper music, which became such an indelible part of his program.

And for the true Art Bell fan, we offer different listening options to fine-tune your experience, such as guest only, and full show streams. Coast Insiders, we're very happy to bring this new offering to you at no additional charge to your subscription! We welcome your feedback.
