Bigfoot Bandits Steal Several Sasquatch Signs in Ohio

By Tim Binnall

In yet another instance of Bigfoot banditry, some sticky-fingered ne'er-do-wells stole several Sasquatch signs placed throughout an Ohio village by a charitable organization. The unfortunate case came to light last week when the group St. John's Villa in the community of Carrollton detailed the dispiriting development on social media. The organization explained that multiple Bigfoot cutouts advertising their upcoming Squatch Fest & Parapalooza event on October 17th had gone missing. "These signs are handmade," the group explained, "and take a great deal of time, effort, and care to create."

The charitable organization lamented that the thefts are "incredibly disappointing" because next weekend's event aims to "help raise funds for our developmentally disabled adults." As such, the group called upon the public for help in identifying who took the handmade Sasquatches "so we can have them returned and put back out in the community for everyone to enjoy." Perhaps hoping to entice the thieves to do the right thing, St. John's Villa noted that similar cutouts will be "available to order" at the forthcoming cryptid and paranormal gathering.

Alas, on Wednesday, the organization posted particularly maddening update on the matter, revealing that another cutout had been taken sometime over the past week. Seemingly at their wit's end over the disappearing Sasquatches, the group mused that they "don't understand why someone would think that it is OK to trespass onto someone's property and steal from their yard." St. John's Villa once again asked for the public's help in finding the scoundrels responsible for the stolen Bigfoot signs and indicated that the situation had escalated in seriousness, as the Carrollton Police Department has now taken up the case.
