A British man believes he spotted Bigfoot during a visit to a sizeable forest infamous for incidents of high strangeness. The intriguing sighting reportedly occurred on New Year's Day as the witness, who opted to remain anonymous, and his partner were walking their dog along a trail at Cannock Chase, an area notorious for odd events, including encounters with Dogman and Black Eyed Kids. The couple's routine stroll took a bewildering turn when the man noticed something peculiar in his periphery. "I turned suddenly and thought, 'what the hell was that,'" he recalled, "as a large figure appeared from nowhere." According to the witness, the eerie interloper dashed across a ditch and vanished "as quickly as it had appeared."
Despite the brevity of the sighting, the man was certain that he saw a bipedal, hair-covered figure standing around 7 to 10 feet tall. "This happened a few yards next to me," he noted, musing that the puzzling moment "didn't feel scary, just strangely calm." Interestingly, neither his partner nor their dog noticed anything unusual at the time, making the man the only witness to the weird creature. "I didn't tell a soul for a few days as I wasn't completely sure about what I'd seen," the man explained, indicating that he ultimately concluded that he had spotted Bigfoot after discovering previous accounts of the creature purportedly lurking in Cannock Chase.
