British Hikers Discover Trail of Bigfoot Prints?

By Tim Binnall

A group of hikers in England found a trail of sizeable footprints that they suspect could have been left behind by Bigfoot. According to a local media report, the odd discovery was made this past Saturday in the coastal community of Torquay. The normally routine excursion for the exploration club took an eerie turn, leader Ziggy Austin explained, when "suddenly someone starts pointing down at the mud." The wondrous sight that caught their attention was a series of huge tracks that astounded the group.

"We all just said, 'oh my gosh, that is weird,'" he recalled, "it then all went a bit quiet, with us all looking at each other thinking what is going on and just starting down at these footprints." Understandably curious as to where the tracks could have come from, he followed the trail and determined that some creature had emerged from the nearby brush, walked approximately 65 feet along the path, and then ventured back into the woods. "Each print was perfect," he marveled, observing that they seemed to be genuine rather than the work of a prankster as "you could see where the weight had been distributed."

Fortunately, Austin snapped a photo of one of the tracks (seen below), though it is admittedly difficult to discern its size without an object beside it for comparison. Pondering what could have created the sizeable prints, he mused that "as a science teacher, I have to go on evidence, then come to a conclusion." With that in mind, he posited that "either someone with big feet was strolling barefoot through the woods or they belong to something a bit more exciting: a potential Bigfoot."
