California Grandmother Reports Bigfoot Sighting

A California woman driving her grandson to work was stunned when she spotted a peculiar-looking figure that she believes was a Sasquatch. The sighting, recently reported to the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization (BFRO), occurred on June 28th as witness Linda Dixon-Smith was en route to Camp Chawanakee in the Sierra National Forest. Nearing the road leading to the young man's summer job, she recalled, "I looked over at my grandson. My eyes carried further, and I saw a figure standing in the field."

Dixon-Smith described the bipedal creature, which she later estimated to be a staggering eight feet tall, as boasting "brownish red hair that I could plainly see skin through. Similar to many Sasquatch reports, she also noted that the figure sported a "small head like right on its shoulders" and inordinately long arms that hung past its knees. Alas, from her vantage point, Dixon-Smith was unable to observe the creature's face or feet as it simply "stood frozen as I very slowly drove past."

To her credit, Dixon-Smith returned to the location a few days later to take another look at the spot and ensure that "I didn't see a stump or something." However, when there was nothing there that could account for the mysterious figure at the spot where the suspected Sasquatch stood, she felt compelled to share her story with the BFRO. "I saw what I saw," the astonished witness marveled in her report, which has likely generated considerable chatter among the youngsters attending the summer camp this year.
