Classes Cancelled at High School in Philippines Following 'Mass Possession'

Classes at a high school in the Philippines were canceled after a staggering 14 students were seemingly possessed by an evil spirit. According to a local media report, the odd case occurred last week at the Hinawanan National High School in the community of Loay. The strangeness began when a student, who is said to be gifted with a "third eye," claimed to see a shadow figure in the school. In response, administrators held a special mass to eradicate the suspected sinister spirit, but this only exacerbated the situation. A few days after the initial sighting, a whopping fourteen students at the school suddenly began screaming and exhibiting an uncanny level of strength.

Despite these unsettling conditions, school administrators were somehow able to bring the youngsters to a priest who performed an exorcism on the group. They were subsequently taken to the hospital for observation while classes were canceled for the rest of the week. Detailing the case to the media, a police official mused that "in my assessment, it’s possible" that the student had become possessed "despite not being particularly aggressive." This position was echoed by a psychic who was reportedly enlisted by the school and concluded that, indeed, the kids had fallen victim to some kind of "spiritual retaliation" on the part of a dark force.
