Creepy Clown Spotted Outside Scottish School

By Tim Binnall

In a sure sign we are nearing the culmination of spooky season, a creepy clown recently caused a stir in Scotland after the mischievous miscreant was spotted outside a school. According to a local media report, the unsettling incident occurred on Monday in the community of Linwood. Classes at the town's primary school were understandably disrupted that day when students and teachers noticed the out-of-place jester ambling down the road outside the building. Although the clown did not approach the school, his presence was troubling enough that administrators promptly reported the odd observation to police.

Interestingly, it would appear that the strange sighting was one of many in Linwood on Monday, as multiple residents took to social media with their own accounts of seeing the haunting harlequin roaming around the community. As one might imagine, the creepy clown quickly became the talk of the town, prompting police to issue a statement on the situation. Confirming that the sighting outside the school was genuine, authorities indicated that they investigated the matter, but "no crime has been established." Time will tell if the creepy clown makes any additional appearances in Linwood or if he will hang up his harlequin garb for the season, having gotten the attention he so clearly craved.
