A family in Kenya is understandably on edge after receiving a chilling note predicting the dates that they will die. According to a local media report, the weird incident occurred earlier this month in the community of Kenyenya when a hen suddenly appeared outside Damaris Joel's home. Upon examining the bird, which had its beak cruelly removed, she was surprised to find a note tucked beneath its wing. When Joel read the message, she was left shaken by its creepy contents.
Written in "dark pen," she explained, was the name of her late husband with a check mark next to it. In red ink beneath that was Joel's name with "the date I will allegedly die," followed by similarly unsettling predictions for two other family members also listed on the note. Given the nature of the message, the macabre manner by which it was delivered, and unspecified "other items they believed were associated with witchcraft," the stunned household suspects that there is a sinister explanation for the incident that has their community buzzing.
"We woke up and received news that something unusual had occurred in Joel's home," one neighbor recalled, "the incident has really shocked us. Many people have come to witness it." Unfortunately for the family, they are at a loss as to who could have been behind the bizarre communique delivered by the beakless chicken. "Whoever informed me of the day I will allegedly die is not God, but a human being," Joel declared, strangely expressing gratitude for the proverbial head's up and promising to "use the remaining days to repent and serve God."
