A woman in Wales says that she found her missing cat after she had an odd dream wherein she saw where the lost feline was located. According to a local media report, Nikki Myring-Thomas was heartbroken last month when her cat Inka suddenly vanished and several days of searching for the animal proved to be futile. Beginning to consider the possibility that her beloved pet could have met a tragic end, Myring-Thomas was nearly about to stop looking for the feline when fate intervened in a rather wondrous manner.
"I had this dream that Inka was locked in St David’s Church that overlooks our estate," she explained, "I woke up at about 4am and thought that was a bit weird and then just fell back asleep." The following day, Myring-Thomas went out to walk her dog when she decided, on a lark, to visit the building out to see if perhaps her cat really was stuck inside the disused site. "I noticed a little window in the back was broken," she recalled, and this led her to call for Inka through the unexpected opening. Within seconds, Myring-Thomas says, the feline emerged from the darkness and her relieved owner rescued her from the predicament.
Noting that the "premonition" revealing the location of the trapped cat was "really strange," Myring-Thomas marveled that "if I hadn’t had that dream, I wouldn’t have thought to go and check out the church. I'd have never heard her from the road and she'd never have escaped without help." Uncertain as to what could have been behind the puzzling lead, she mused that "I might have a sixth sense or maybe the witch side of me came out." While her coworkers have expressed astonishment at the peculiar manner in which Inka was found, Myring-Thomas insists that there was "no word of a lie" in her story and that, simply, "I dreamt she was there. It's a bit of a freaky one."
