Shared-death experiences, the Varginha UFO incident, and exorcisms were among the fascinating topics discussed this past week on Coast to Coast AM. And, here at the C2C website, we told you about a possible alien spotted on Google Earth, a bizarre entity sighting in Connecticut, and an eerie video featuring what might be an apparition manifesting over a driveway in Mississippi. Check out our round-up of highlights from the past week ... In Coast You Missed It.

The Varginha Incident, a mysterious 1996 UFO crash which has come to be known as the 'Roswell of Brazil,' was explored on Sunday night's program as filmmaker James Fox discussed his new documentary on the tantalizing case. He detailed how he had initially been skeptical of the case, but eventually became convinced that it was a genuine event by way of compelling eyewitness testimony from multiple individuals who were on the scene when the event occurred. According to Fox, observers contend that a cigar-shaped craft plummeted to the ground that fateful day and its passengers were otherworldly beings that were ultimately taken into custody by shadowy military personnel from both Brazil and the United States.

With Halloween right around the corner, it should come as no surprise that this past week saw multiple stories centered around possible ghostly activity caught on film. First, a security camera overlooking a driveway in Mississippi captured an eerie mist that seemingly materialized into an apparition of woman before vanishing into thin air. Meanwhile, a couple in Tennessee were left shaken when their crawling toddler appeared to be pushed by an unseen force that they suspect could have been a spirit residing in their home. And, over in England, some nightclub staff members have refused to work this coming weekend after security cameras caught a chair moving on its own at the establishment.

Existing on the periphery of end-of-life phenomena are incidents known as shared-death experiences (SDEs), wherein an individual winds up having something extraordinary happen to them as a loved one is crossing over to the 'other side.' On Saturday night's program, Dr. Scott Taylor shared insights into these rare and unique events. Explaining that SDEs do not appear to be constrained by time and space, he indicated that around 60 percent of people who report having them were nowhere near their loved one when it occurred. During his appearance, Taylor vividly recounted his own shared-death experience which took place after his partner and her son were in a tragic car accident.

This past week saw a particularly peculiar story pop up in the news when a woman searching for directions on Google Earth wound up stumbling upon what appears to be an alien riding in the backseat of a car. Crystal Patterson spotted the very weird scene while looking for a way to get to a yard sale in the community of Mapleton, Maine. Intrigued by an odd-looking driver of a car that was captured by the popular mapping service, she zoomed in on the vehicle and was stunned to see what seems to be an extraterrestrial looking out the backseat window. A bewildered Patterson subsequently posted the image on social media where it quickly went viral with some wondering if the PT Cruiser seen in the picture contained a genuine ET.

Exorcisms took center stage on Wednesday night's program as ordained Orthodox Catholic priest Plato Angelakis and his associate Sister Lucie Sophie Marie discussed their work thwarting sinister spiritual forces. Beyond cases of outright possession, he explained that they have also helped individuals who are afflicted with 'lesser' issues such as demonic oppression, which often involves paranormal activity, and infestations of a residence. The duo detailed the process by which the perform an exorcism and how Angelakis enlists clairvoyants and energy workers, such as Sister Lucie, for these spiritual interventions.

The most bizarre story of the week came by way of Connecticut, where a person claims to have seen a small bipedal entity that resembled a "tree on legs." The strange sighting took place in the community of Oxford as the witness was pulling down their driveway one morning a few months ago. They suddenly stopped when they spotted the puzzling-looking being which they described as being around four feet tall with tiny arms and no visible fur or hair. The peculiar entity is said to have dashed in front of the car in a quick but graceful manner as if they were floating on air and subsequently vanished into some nearby woods. While the witness suspects that they may have seen an alien, they also conceded that the oddity was so unnerving that they opted not to follow it.
