Otherworldly beings and UFOs, near-death experiences, and the enigmatic nature of time were among the fascinating topics explored this past week on Coast to Coast AM. Meanwhile, at the C2C website, we told you about a tantalizing new Nessie sighting, phony Russian 'mystics' exploiting the country's fuel crisis, and a would-be bank robber who brought a stolen kitten to the heist. Check out our round-up of highlights from the past week ... In Coast You Missed It.

The nature of time was in the spotlight on Tuesday night's program as paranormal researcher Mike Ricksecker put forward his theory that the past, present, and future all exist concurrently in a manner akin to a stack of photos. He argued that the concept explains phenomena like the Mandela Effect and time slips wherein people suddenly appear in a different era or creatures from long ago inexplicably appear in our modern world for brief moments. During his appearance, Ricksecker also discussed scientific perspectives on traveling to the past or future and the possibility of consciousness-based time travel through meditation.

The Loch Ness Monster made a splash this past week with the emergence of a tantalizing photo that just might provide a glimpse of the legendary creature. Snapped by a tourist taking a cruise at the iconic Scottish site, the intriguing image shows a perplexing green shape that appeared beneath the surface of the water near the boat. Remarkably, even the company that runs the popular excursions said that they had no explanation for the mysterious mass seen in the picture. Meanwhile, a small Italian town is experiencing its fifteen minutes of fame after a photo purportedly showing a crocodile, now dubbed the Croc Ness Monster, in a community lake captivated the area and has turned the village into an unlikely summer tourist destination.

UFOs and otherworldly beings took center stage on Saturday night's program as 'alien hunter' Derrel Sims returned to Coast for another conversation about these long-perplexing mysteries. A lifelong abductee who has spent decades studying high strangeness, he posited that the various perceived extraterrestrials thought to visit our world, such as gray aliens, reptilians, mantises, and Nordics, as well as Bigfoot, are all manufactured entities designed for a specific purpose here on Earth. Chillingly, Sims also postulated that these beings were created by fallen angels looking to deceive the human race into thinking that these various 'visitors' are from another planet, rather than actually existing beside us.

Providing further proof that underhanded individuals can use 'magic' to make mischief in any situation, it came to light this past week that Russian social media is awash with self-proclaimed mystics offering to help people during the country's crippling fuel crisis ... for a price. The so-called psychics hoping to take advantage of the difficult situation promise prospective clients that they can improve their vehicle's fuel efficiency using various 'rituals' and even enhance the potency of gasoline by way of costly 'spells.' As one might imagine, Russian media is sounding the alarm about the worrisome trend, warning the public about the 'mystical mechanics' who will only make their problems worse.

Death was explored from a pair of interesting perspectives on Wednesday night's program as, in the first half, German physicist and philosopher Vera Spillner detailed her compelling research into near-death experiences (NDEs) and how she analyzed cases using criminal interrogation techniques as a means of testing the veracity of such accounts. The process convinced her that the phenomenon is real. Then, in the latter half, spiritual counselor and occultist Samantha Corfield, PhD, reflected on her work helping people overcome their fear of death and how to grapple with grief. She also shared two NDEs from her own life, once when she was a child and another when she was an adult.

By far the most bizarre story of the week came from Maryland, where a sticky-fingered ne'er-do-well used a stolen kitten in an attempted bank robbery. The wild incident began when the suspect sauntered into a pet store and brazenly snatched the cat. However, that was just the start of his criminal misadventure as the man then dashed over to a nearby bank with the pilfered feline in tow. Upon arriving at a teller, the crook plopped the kitten into the hands of an employee while he wrote out a note demanding cash. Cops responding to the attempted robbery managed to take the man into custody and rescue the cat, which fortunately came out of the caper unscathed.
