One of the more intriguing concepts in the world of the paranormal and conspiracy lore is that the Earth may, in fact, be hollow. Adventurer Stephen Sindoni discussed the famed Hollow Earth Theory on Saturday night's program, recounting the story of Norwegian sailor who allegedly sailed into this mysterious realm by way of an opening at the North Pole. According to Sindoni, the man reported seeing 12-foot tall giant humans as well as dinosaurs living in this 'lost' world.
This past week saw a very weird incident in Kentucky that wound up making headlines around the world: a couple called 911 to report that a Bigfoot-hunting man was shooting a gun in the middle of the night at Mammoth Cave National Park. Fortunately, no one was hurt during the ill-advised Sasquatch search and it would seem that the legendary cryptid also managed to escape unscathed since nobody has come forward with claims of finally taking down the Bigfoot yet.
Reincarnation and past lives took center stage on Monday night's program as author Barry Eaton talked about his research into these tantalizing topics. Sharing his own personal experiences undergoing hypnotic regression to learn about his possible past lives, he revealed that he was once a philosopher in ancient Greece and had also been a young man in Tudor England. Eaton also shared insights about past lives that he has learned from his spirit guides such as how often one can reincarnate.
One of the wilder videos we've seen in quite some time appeared online this week by way of a zoo in Kazakhstan. In the outrageous footage, an allegedly drunk patron at the site can be seen scrambling over a fence at a giraffe enclosure and climbing atop one of the creatures for an ill-advised ride. Although the long-necked animals often appear quite docile, this particular giraffe was not too thrilled about the interloper, who managed to escape the situation unscathed.
While Halloween may be months away, an odd movement has been building over the last few weeks to change the date of the holiday from October 31st to the last Saturday of the month. On Thursday night's program, occult researcher Mitch Horowitz weighed in on the curious campaign and mused that the proposal may be more about commercial interest rather than convenience as candy companies likely suspect that they'll sell more candy if the holiday is on a weekend.
In what may have been the most astounding story of the past week, doctors in India removed a tumor from the mouth of a young boy and found that it contained a whopping 256 teeth! The excess chompers were so plentiful that it took a team of workers at the hospital three hours to count them all. Amazingly, although some of them were quite tiny, each tooth was fully formed with a crown, root, and enamel.
