Haunted locations, the search for Noah's Ark, and weather manipulation were among the fascinating topics explored this past week on Coast to Coast AM. Meanwhile, here on the C2C website, we told you about a search-and-rescue operation hampered by ghost fears in China, a 'haunted' Indian village that fired back against paranormal content creators, and a suspected killer clown in Illinois.
Noah's Ark took center stage on Wednesday night's program as biblical researcher Andrew Jones shed light on efforts to locate the legendary vessel. He specifically pointed to a boat-shaped formation on a Turkish mountain that was first spotted following a landslide in the 1940s. Noting that the anomaly appears to match the biblical dimensions of the ark, he indicated that ground-penetrating radar revealed voids suggesting some kind of internal structure in the puzzling find. After decades of debate surrounding the peculiar formation, Jones said that the true nature of the mysterious shape may soon be determined as there are plans for a non-destructive examination of the oddity using sonic vibration technology.
A pair of peculiar stories involving missing person cases popped up in the news this past week. First, in China, rescuers spent a staggering 20 hours looking for two women who had gotten lost in the wilderness while foraging for medicinal herbs. When the duo was finally located, they revealed that they had actually heard the search party shouting for them on several occasions, but did not respond due to a long-standing superstition surrounding forest ghosts that lure people to their doom by calling their name. Then, in Kazakhstan, an online psychic understandably came under fire after they predicted that a missing teen had been murdered, only to be proven incorrect when the young woman was found alive and well shortly after the macabre 'vision' was shared on social media.
Haunted locations were a hot topic of conversation this past week on Coast to Coast AM with two shows exploring spooky sites. First, on Saturday night's program, paranormal historian Courtney McInvale discussed how Civil War battlefields are particularly strong locations for spirit activity due to the trauma that was imprinted at those now-hallowed grounds like Gettysburg and Chickamauga. Then, on Monday night's show, author William G. Krejci recalled his time serving as the resident historian for Cleveland's infamously haunted Franklin Castle and the eerie events he personally experienced at the site, including waking up one evening to a weird light that transformed into a man's scowling face.
An Indian village made headlines this past week when it banned all outsiders in response to becoming the proverbial flavor of the month among the country's paranormal content creators. The small town of Swala has recently been featured on several 'spooky' YouTube channels and social media accounts that specialize in profiling haunted locations. However, residents and officials insist that the content creators' tales of paranormal activity in the village are fictitious. Fed up with what they see as the Swala's reputation being besmirched, the community passed the remarkable regulation that prohibits visitors, specifically camera-toting thrill-seekers, from entering the town without government permission.
Are the 'powers that be' manipulating the weather to nefarious ends? On Sunday night's program, geoengineering researcher Dane Wigington made the case for just such a troubling scenario. He asserted that there is a secret program aimed at controlling the population through clandestine activities, like small-scale cloud seeding, that result in extreme weather. To that end, he suggested that the catastrophic wildfires impacting Washington State and Europe are evidence for this sinister agenda. Wigington also argued for eschewing the term "chemtrails" because the word has become weaponized by critics who dismiss geoengineering concerns as mere conspiracy theories rather than a genuine issue.
Two separate costume-clad creeps caught our attention this past week, beginning with a troubling incident in Illinois wherein a miscreant dressed as a clown allegedly murdered an unfortunate individual. Adding a nightmarish element to the case, a Ring camera in the neighborhood where the crime occurred captured the suspect wandering up to the front door of a residence and chillingly declaring "I have a gift for you," before leaving when he got no response. Later in the week, a young man in Wales faced justice for a bizarre incident wherein he stood atop a hospital roof while dressed as the Grim Reaper and menaced people entering the building by staring at them in a sinister fashion.
