Intriguing Anomaly Photographed Emerging from Water at Loch Ness

By Tim Binnall

A peculiar picture taken at Loch Ness earlier this week features an intriguing anomaly that some suspect could be the site's resident monster emerging from the water. The remarkable image (seen below) was reportedly captured this past Sunday evening by a witness named John Howie. Sharing the photo on their Facebook page, the Loch Ness Centre tourist attraction marveled at the "amazing" picture and explained that the sighting came about when he "spotted something mysterious in the loch" and, fortunately, managed to snap a photo of the oddity.

According to the Centre, which has hailed the picture as perhaps the best potential Nessie photo this year, Howie watched as the anomaly traveled "slowly towards the tree line" until it ultimately vanished from view. From his vantage point at the shore, the astounded witness speculated that the suspected creature was around 12 to 15 feet in length. While admittedly hard to decipher, the oddity in the image bears an uncanny resemblance to the iconic Surgeon's Photo of 'Nessie,' which may be why it has drawn proverbial rave reviews from fans of the famed 'monster.' With that in mind, what do you think Howie photographed last Sunday evening? Weigh in with your thoughts at the C2C Facebook page.
