A persistent Loch Ness webcam watcher with a history of intriguing virtual sightings recently spotted a series of peculiar humps that emerged from the water at the iconic site. The remarkable moment (seen isolated below and on video here) occurred late last month as Eoin O’Faodhagain was keeping an eye on a livestream overlooking the location. To his amazement, a curious form suddenly broke the surface of the water and, upon closer inspection, he observed that it appeared to be four humps seemingly belonging to the same sizeable creature. "I tried to rationalize what I was watching," O’Faodhagain recalled, "and nothing else apart from Nessie ticked the boxes."
He went on to muse that "it certainly appears that something comes up out of the water that is quite big and long," while arguing that the odd humps "look very alive," submerging at the same time as the suspected creature vanished from view. While O’Faodhagain has amassed a rather astounding number of virtual sightings over the many years he has spent watching Loch Ness livestreams from his home in Ireland, he singled out this particular instance as being "very good" by virtue of how "visually clear" the anomalous 'monster' appears thanks to how near to shore it was. "Nessie could not be any closer to the webcam," he marveled, "unless she was out of the water."
The series of humps spotted by O’Faodhagain are similar in nature to what thirteen-year-old Francesca McGarvey saw earlier this month while visiting the site with her family. The teenager's account, corroborated by her father, currently stands as the 2023's first and only officially recognized report by the Loch Ness Monster Sightings Register, which opted to eschew webcam cases last year unless they meet the incredibly high standard of showing a clear view of the creature's face. Fortunately, that has not dissuaded O’Faodhagain, who continues to document oddities that he spots on the livestream. What do you make of his latest report?
