MLB Player Experiences Ghostly Activity at Notoriously Haunted Hotel in Milwaukee?

An Oakland A's outfielder is the latest MLB star to experience possible paranormal activity at a notoriously haunted hotel in Milwaukee. The eerie incident reportedly occurred last week when Brent Rooker and his team stopped in the city for a series against the Brewers and, as is custom, stayed at the legendary Pfister Hotel. The outfielder had previously stayed at the purportedly haunted location on two separate occasions without anything particularly spooky unfolding, however this time around turned out be decidedly different.

On the evening prior to the start of the series, Rooker revealed, the television in his room began acting rather erratically. "I'll have it on like Golf Channel and I’ll be on my laptop looking down. I look back up and it's on QVC or some other channel," he recalled, "that's happened a few times." The strangeness with the TV continued throughout the weekend, Rooker said, observing that "I fell asleep with it on one night and woke up at like 4 AM and it was off, which I figured was just like a sleep timer. I woke back up at 7:30 or 8 and it was back on, and on a different channel."

Noting that multiple MLB players have reported experiencing paranormal activity while staying at the 130-year-old hotel in the past, Rooker conceded that his tale is "pretty mild and tame" in comparison. As for whether or not he believes that a ghost could have been tinkering with his television, the outfielder indicated that "I don’t really know where I stand, to be honest." That said, the weirdness was not enough to compel him to switch rooms or stay at another location to avoid the suspected spirits, as Dodgers star Mookie Betts did when visiting Milwaukee last month. "I felt safe enough," Rooker said, musing that "if all the ghosts are going to do is pick which channel they want to watch, I'm cool with that. We can hang out and I’ll be good."
