In a curious case out of Venezuela, a mysterious set of clawed footprints were discovered in a home and some have suggested that the odd markings may have come from a reptilian being. According to a local media report, the weird discovery was made last week in the city of Caracas when a bewildered homeowner noticed the weird prints on his otherwise pristine floor. The witness indicated that the dark markings (which can be seen below) were around 10 inches in length and appeared to have been muddy in nature.
The prints are particularly puzzling for a pair of reasons, beginning with the fact that, as the witness explained, "it had not rained, therefore, it was impossible that someone had stepped on the swamp in the street and left those marks." Compounding the mystery is that they were found on the second story of the home and it would have been impossible for someone to have entered the residence by way of a window as there are security bars in place for preventing just such a thing.
Understandably intrigued by the footprints found in his home, the witness subsequently explored the rest of the residence hoping to find additional marks that might explain their origin. However, a search of the house turned up no additional prints nor any mud-like substance that could account for the bewildering discovery. With that in mind, the source of the footprints remains a mystery with Venezuelan UFO researcher Hector Escalante, who investigated the case, suggesting that they could have come from "reptilians among us" or, he conceded, they may have merely been a practical joke.
