A curious pair of pictures from Mexico shows a silver sphere that multiple witnesses reported seeing hovering over a city before departing from the scene. According to a local media report, the intriguing sighting occurred on Saturday morning in the city of Monterrey. The two pictures of the puzzling orb (seen below) were snapped by a man who spotted the UFO alongside his young son. The strange silver orb was said to have remained stationary in the sky for "several minutes," making no discernible sound, and then accelerated towards the nearby Cerro de las Mitras mountain. Chillingly, the man who took the photos of the orb indicated that he and his son experienced severe headaches after their strange sighting.
Since being posted online over the weekend, the photos generated considerable discussion on Mexican social media, with responses largely falling into one of three camps. Some suggested that the object was an otherworldly visitor of the alien variety. Conversely, more skeptical observers argued that the UFO was probably something prosaic, such as a drone or errant balloon. And, in a sign of the times, there were others who posited that the images were probably just an AI fabrication. That said, the Mexican newscaster who received the photos from the witness and first shared them online insisted that they were not the product of digital manipulation.
