Pentagon Releases Slew of 'Never-Before-Seen' UFO Files, Photos, & Videos

By Tim Binnall

UFO buffs and flying saucer fans would be wise to cancel their weekend plans as the Pentagon has released a slew of "never-before-seen" material on unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs), including a bevy of tantalizing photos and videos. The colossal collection, which can be explored here, consists of a staggering 161 files highlighting hundreds of cases from the 1940s to last year. The documents are said to be the first in a series of UFO-related materials planned for publication by the Pentagon in response to a February directive from President Trump, wherein he instructed the federal government to be more transparent about the phenomenon.

Included in the material are an almost-overwhelming array of UFO photos and videos (featured below) from what the Pentagon indicated are "unresolved cases, meaning the government is unable to make a definitive determination on the nature of the observed phenomena." Those who appreciate the mystery surrounding the phenomena are in for a treat as the collection contains countless intriguing UFO incidents that will undoubtedly be explored by researchers in the weeks, months, and years to come. Particularly compelling are accounts from the Apollo astronauts and previously unseen photos from the lunar missions (such as the one seen above), which show inexplicable illuminations that seemingly cannot be dismissed as something prosaic.

While Friday's file release is being celebrated and devoured by many UFO enthusiasts, those who believe there is a government conspiracy to keep the 'alien reality' a secret from the public will unquestionably be disappointed to learn that there is no such smoking gun to be found in the voluminous files. In fact, while admittedly impressive, the myriad of newly unearthed UAP material only further advances the proverbial party line that the 'powers that be' are as stumped by UFOs as everyone else. To that end, in releasing the files, the Pentagon specifically stressed that the public can "make up their own minds" about the subject, which was echoed by President Trump, who ambiguously declared that "people can decide for themselves."

With that in mind, what do you make of the materials released by the Pentagon? Weigh in with your thoughts at the C2C Facebook page.
