Phantom Motorcyclist Confounds Texas Cops

By Tim Binnall

A sheriff’s office in Texas is on the hunt for a mysterious motorcyclist who has somehow managed to escape their high-speed pursuits a staggering seven times. The weird case came to light on Wednesday by way of a Facebook post from the Parker County Sheriff's Office wherein they shared a photo of the slippery miscreant. According to the cops, "on at least seven separate occasions over recent months," the phantom motorcyclist has lured police into high-speed chases that ultimately proved to be fruitless.

Although the sheriff’s office does not say exactly how the nimble ne'er-do-well has been able to evade them, they are clearly at their wit's end over the situation. As such, they have turned to the public in hopes that someone can identify the mysterious individual as their ride bears no license plate and their face is obscured by their helmet. One imagines that, should authorities nab the phantom motorcyclist, they will likely throw the proverbial book at them for all of the annoyance and embarrassment that they have caused the department.
