A peculiar picture from Portugal shows a puzzling UFO that left a group of witnesses scratching their heads. According to the Center for the Investigation of Aerospace Phenomena (CIFA), a Portuguese UFO research group looking into the case, the strange sighting occurred in the early morning hours of March 10th in the city of Porto when "several young people" spotted the weird object (seen below) in the sky. The baffled witnesses described the aerial anomaly as a "white object that seemed to have propellers and membranous wings" like those sported by "bees or flies."
Beyond that bizarre description, the group also noted that the object performed "erratic and spontaneous movements, with sudden changes of direction" and that the UFO "seemed to have small lights or particles around it." A local media outlet reporting on the strange sighting subsequently contacted the Portuguese Air Force about the case, but was told that they had no record of anything unusual at the time of the incident. To their credit, in detailing the case on their website, CIFA stressed that the object may not have been otherworldly and, instead, might have simply been a drone.
