The crew of a Russian fishing vessel had a rare encounter with a giant squid. One of the sailors recorded almost two minutes of video as the colossal cephalopod attempted to snatch a large fish they had caught. Giant squids, which can grow up to 43 feet long, inhabit deep waters and are rarely seen alive.
