Sasquatch Foot Found in Canada?

By Tim Binnall

Workers planting trees in Canada made a rather macabre discovery in the form of a creature's foot that some suspect could be that of a Sasquatch. The unsettling find occurred last Thursday at a camp near Alexis Creek, British Columbia. Photos of the nightmarish paw (see more below) were subsequently shared on social media by Joanna Finch, who called upon "friends who know archaeology, anthropology, paleontology, or weird animal identification" to help in determining the nature of "this crazy humanoid foot" which, she marveled, seems to resemble something that could have come from "a baby Sasquatch."

As one might imagine, the jaw-dropping photos of the peculiar appendage spawned all manner of speculation among people online with some echoing the possibility that it could be the eponymous foot of Bigfoot. That said, skeptical observers put forward some more plausible prosaic possibilities, including that it is the paw of a wolverine or a bear. To that end, Finch tells C2C that renowned Sasquatch researcher Jeff Meldrum, who is also a professor of anthropology and anatomy at Idaho State University, examined the images and, unfortunately, concluded that the appendage is "a left hind foot of a bear" and, sadly, not a Bigfoot's paw.
